How To Automate Your Income Online 1

“What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?”
Dr. Robert Schuller

Are you interested in learning how to make money without working steady? If you are, then you should know that there is still work involved — this is not a “get rich quick” scheme where you can expect to make easy money.

What it is though, is a method how you can successfully break away from the daily grind of working a full- or part-time job and still earn a living. This may sound foolish, scary, or even impossible, but I am doing it as we speak and I couldn’t ask for a more fulfilling life.

Once you’ve established your money generating systems using this method, you’ll be earning money every day whether you decide to work or not.

The method for successfully automating your income online begins with the question I quoted in this article’s opening:

What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?

You have something that you’re naturally good at, that you enjoy doing, and that others appreciate. For some people this is cooking, for others it is performing, for others still it is teaching, working with children, repairing things, creating crafts . . . the list is endless.

Take a moment to identify what this is for you. Since this is often a very difficult undertaking, consider the following questions that could help you:

  1. What would you do with your life if you were naturally wealthy?
  2. What is your most favorite hobby?
  3. Is there something that you enjoy so immensely that you never notice how quickly time passes while you’re doing it?

Whatever causes you to feel this way is “your calling.”

Following your calling makes you feel right with the world.

Don’t make the mistake of ignoring your calling. If you ignore your calling to take the standard, cookie-cutter, and supposedly “safer” path to success (high school education, college education, other optional education, and then find an appropriate job using your earned credentials), your life may turn out a rather stale existence where your genius is left to slowly die inside you.

In other words, you’re lost in the wrong career because of a skills mismatch. Maybe you’re a talented pianist working in retail, a fine mechanic working as a traffic cop, or an opera singer working as substitute teacher — whatever the case, you’re simply miserable because your true calling is being stifled by a 9 to 5 job.

Are you prepared to set your genius free and follow your calling?

Don’t go setting fire to your degrees just yet. To clarify, I don’t think having a formal education is a bad thing — I simply believe that there are many people in the world currently working someone else’s dream career instead of their own. It took me four years working jobs I found no real enjoyment in before I realized I was in the wrong industry — and I wish my eyes had been opened to the truth sooner.

If you already know what your calling is, you are ready for the next step to be discussed in tomorrow’s article.

If, however, you are not sure what your calling is, then you need to ponder that for a while before you can proceed. You will need to embrace your calling and use it to create something of value, so take some time to assess your talents and interests. Hopefully you will stumble upon whatever it is that makes you feel right with the world.

The quote you start out with is by Dr. Robert Schuller.

@Chris
Thank you for this info. I wrote down this quote inside of a shop that had motivational wall plaques for sale — but the quote had no author. I have edited the article to credit the quote to Dr. Schuller. Thanks again.

Shaun, I must tell you that your insights have been extraordinarily meaningful within the context of the personal evolution that I’ve been experiencing recently. The quote at the beginning from Dr. Schuller was well placed, and it served to make my mind fertile for the ideas that have blossomed since reading your work. My head has been buzzing for days now and I have shared your work with friends and others who would appreciate your perspective. I wish you success with all your endeavors and may your words continue to inspire and illuminate.

Hi Shaun. Great article. However, I believe Dr. Schuller’s exact words are, “”What dream would you dream if you knew you could not fail?”

Great post. I love the quote

“What would you attempt to do if you could not fail”

Sadly so many hold back from their dreams in fear of failing. I think my success came from failing a few times in the past. However it should not stop you from your dreams or goals.

Great motivational and knowledgeable post.

Shaun,

This is a great series of articles. It is true that if you sat down today and thought to yourself, “if I had all the money in the world, and had to do nothing to make it, what would I do to fulfill my life?” Following that exact path will bring anyone riches beyond their wildest imagination, along with great fulfillment in life. I made this very break from working for a fortune 50 IT firm to living my own lifestyle on my own terms.

The greatest fulfillment I am getting now, is showing others how to do it. We would love to have you as a guest on one of our teleseminars. Please feel free to email me!

My calling is to be honest, and I think that is one thing that tends to be missing with most marketers online. I can save other people the time and effort of having to go through the same hard knock or lesson.
If I could do anything without fear of failure, it would be to completely automate my online business.

Your time with the people you love cannot be recaptured once it’s gone.
Go tell your mother or your wife or your kids that you love them…
That is time well spent.

Keep your advice coming. It’s good stuff, and really serves to point your readers in the right direction.
Michael. Om Shanti.
